Angel’s Trumpet

Issue

When Angels’ Trumpet Ale House  opened in 2012, it was part of Arizona’s young craft beer scene and one of the first gastropub-style eateries in Downtown Phoenix.

With its trailblazer status for craft beer, upscale pub menu and Downtown Phoenix success, Angel’s Trumpet was often featured in the media after it opened. But as the downtown area has grown, other newer businesses have moved into the limelight. After 8 thriving years, Angel’s Trumpet faced challenges of the coronavirus pandemic. Its mix of clientele from office workers, event attendees and conference visitors had shifted to local residents only. The gastropub was looking to reconnect with regular guests and re-introduce itself to the downtown community.

Solution

The Barnhart Co. recommended a Relaunch Campaign focused on engaging with Angel’s Trumpets dedicated customers and fan base by re-activating its presence on social media. It also planned to re-introduce the gastropub, its menu and owners to Phoenix media for traditional media coverage.

Support

The Barnhart Co. created an integrated campaign that focused on key branding messages and “call to action” promotions:

  • Owners as Downtown Phoenix “Beer Pioneers.”
  • Best Downtown Happy Hour & Patio.
  • Veteran’s Day Discount.
  • Made In House Pop Tarts /Seasonal Flavors.
  • Holiday Pop Tart Take Away Offer.

The Barnhart Co. delivered this message across multiple platforms:

  • Regular posts on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Daily posts on Instagram stories.
  • Responding and reposting social media tags and comments.
  • Securing traditional print, online and radio media coverage.
  • Writing and posting blog posts on Angel’s Trumpet website.

Finally, The Barnhart Co. created graphic assets that would allow Angel’s Trumpet to easily continue posting on social media at the end of the campaign.
